Happy Middle

Your figures, plainly

Happy Middle only works if both sides trust it. So here’s exactly what happens to the numbers — no fine print.

Neither side ever sees the other’s numbers

The talent’s range and the buyer’s ceiling are never shown to the other party — not on any screen, not in any email, not after the deal is done. You only ever see the single agreed fee, or a plain “no match”.

We do store the figures

We keep the numbers you enter. We’re honest about this: they’re what will one day power anonymised fee benchmarks. What we never do is reveal your figure to the person on the other side of your negotiation.

Any benchmarks are anonymised and aggregated

If and when Happy Middle publishes fee ranges, they are only ever built from anonymised, aggregated data — combined across many bookings so no single fee, person or deal can be picked out. Your individual number is never shown as yours.

A buyer’s email is used once

Buyers don’t make an account. The email a buyer enters is used to send that one result to both sides at the same moment — no list, no marketing, no follow-up.

Links expire

A negotiation link is open for 24 hours, then it lapses on its own. Each link works once.

Not legal, tax or employment advice

Happy Middle helps two parties land on a fair market fee. It isn’t legal, tax or employment advice. Award rates are a legal floor for a different kind of engagement and are a separate matter from the market fees discussed here.
